Event details:

Join Kushi Yin for an online experience that weaves together exploration, reflection, and embodied practice.

This session explores how Western colonization has shaped modern wellness culture — from the commodification of yoga to the stigmatization of plant medicine.

We’ll begin with an educational talk on what decolonizing wellness means, touching on themes of accessibility, structural oppression, and the power of collective healing. You’ll gain insight into how Western colonial influence has altered both yoga and cannabis culture, and how returning to their essence invites truth, compassion, and liberation.

Following the discussion, you’ll be guided through a yin yoga and journaling practice designed to integrate what you’ve learned. Yin yoga involves gentle postures at a meditative pace allowing space for reflection and embodiment.

This gathering is open to everyone. Whether you’re curious about integrating cannabis with mindfulness, deepening your understanding of yoga’s roots, oror exploring your own journey toward what it means to bewell.
